President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Presidential flag bearer, on Saturday November 15, 2025, officially kicked off his campaign trail in the Busoga sub-region starting with Bugiri District.

He was accompanied by the First National Vice Chairman of the NRM, Alhaji Moses Kigongo and other top party leaders.
