Luuka: Museveni calls for strict enforcement of ‘One Gov’t Primary School Per Parish’ policy

President Museveni Receives Honorary Doctorate

On December 12, 2010, Makerere University awarded Honorary Doctorate to President Museveni. President Yoweri Museveni received his Honorary Doctorate of Laws Award Letter from The Chancellor Makerere University, Prof. George Mondo Kagonyera.

Joins Mbarara High School

At the end of 1958, Museveni passed an oral interview by Mr. Edward Cleaver the headteacher of Mbarara high school hence joining secondary education at the age of 14

He left his parents’ home to stay at school, marking his first time of staying away from home and their kraal permanently since then. Joining secondary school changed his environment in regards to subjects that were taught during his primary level.
