LAUNCHES NRM MANIFESTO 2026/2031

On September 29, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni officially launched the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Manifesto for the 2026/2031 term, at Speke Resort Munyonyo. The event was attended by Cabinet ministers, Members of Parliament, senior NRM officials, and party leaders. The theme of the manifesto is “Protecting the Gains and Securing a Qualitative Leap into High Middle-Income Status.” This theme resonates with the NRM historic mission of granting Ugandans peace and stability.

Museveni emphasizes NRM’s seven key pillars, pledges continued stability and prosperity

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has re-emphasized the seven pillars of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) manifesto, which include peace, development, wealth creation, job generation, service delivery, markets, and regional political federation as the foundation for Uganda’s continued progress and unity.

On 12th May, 2001, Museveni began his second presidital term after a massive campaign where he won with a 69.3% as a National Resistance Movernment (NRM) flag bearer. His manfesito was "Consolidating the Achievements" where promised to continue implementing sound economic policies, investing in health and education, and fostering regional cooperation.
