President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni met and held fruitful discussions with H.E. Vladlen Semivolos, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Uganda and Ms. Bella Cherkesova, Russia's Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media.

In a meeting held at State House, Entebbe, President Museveni and his guests discussed key areas of mutual interest and explored avenues for deepening cooperation between Uganda and Russia.

President Museveni Awards Distinctive Elders

On September 18, 2025, President Yoweri Museveni awarded a group of distinctive elders inspiring Ugandans due to their contributions to the nation’s socio-economic transformation agenda. 

The exceptional elders, including prominent industrialists, farmers, activists, educationalists, religious leaders, philanthropists, health workers, intellectuals and lawyers, were awarded during the National Mentorship Day Awards ceremony held at State House Entebbe.
